This year, HCL Engineering & Surveying is officially celebrating its 20 year anniversary. When we opened our doors in March 1999, it was a booming economy where we enjoyed growth and innovation.
Reflection.
Reflecting on the past two decades in business, what comes to mind are the opportunities we took advantage of to grow. HCL primarily served the private sector; however, Mr. Lloyd Herrera envisioned serving both public and private sector clients. The vision to look at P3 (public private partnerships) opportunities have allowed the firm to work on major projects throughout the state and beyond. Along the way, we have worked through some very challenging times too—the dot com boom, Y2K scare, the 9/11 tragedy, a couple of recessions, and through all that, HCL has built a reputation of being a solid team player with strong work ethics and integrity.
It Is About People.
To our clients: I am honored to have built relationships with our clients and the work they have entrusted us to deliver. I would like to thank our clients for their belief in us in helping them achieve their goals and vision of success, while challenging us to be the best we can be. We have been enriched by the people that we have met and worked with at our client’s organizations. Through the years, we have gained friends and advisors, allowing us to grow and learn individually, and as a company. Thank you for your unwavering commitment and amazing relationships.
To our team members: To be in business for 20 years requires having incredible people in our organization. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work every day with a group of talented, passionate, and caring people. Your willingness to give of yourselves and help each other is very special and is deeply admired. HCL has been able to thrive during the past two decades because of the commitment and dedication of our talented staff.
To our families: We have sustained the business because of your underlying commitment and sacrifices. Thank you for a special 20 years and here is to celebrating the next successful chapter together.
