Located in far northeast Denver, the nationally acclaimed Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Early College serves college-bound students in grades six through twelve. Benefiting from a rigorous, college prep curriculum, a strong school culture, zealous support from staff, and a variety of learning opportunities, including Project-Based Learning, student portfolios, and internships, DMLK students are well-prepared for their post-secondary plans and beyond.  HCL provided design expertise for the design of storm sewers, sanitary sewers, ROW improvements, water quality features in compliance with County standards, MHFD criteria, erosion control plans, and drainage reports. The project consisted of repurposing an existing building to a school with a proposed building addition, on-site parking, driveway access, and a sports field. The project included site redesign, site drainage, and grading design. The drainage improvements include a storm sewer and miscellaneous on-site drainage features.

HCL was a sub-consultant to Eidos Architects, providing both civil engineering and survey services.
