HCL managed the water and sanitary sewer line design. With the interstate expansion and grade changes along the interstate corridor, many sanitary lines and water lines needed to be rerouted. HCL coordinated and performed the pre-design survey and utility relocations working with WSP and Jacobs Engineering. It has required an incredible amount of organization, pre-planning, and communication to coordinate the design between the existing and proposed underground utilities and infrastructure. A high level of coordination was required between disciplines due to the large-scale project. ProjectWise was utilized with this project for coordination with other project team members.
Project Highlights
HCL is involved in one of CDOT’s largest transportation projects in Denver. This $1.2 billion Central 70 design-build project in Denver along the I-70 corridor will transform the elevated portion of I-70 into a below-grade transit corridor.
