HCL was the prime consultant for designing improvements to an existing rural roadway to a multi-modal roadway corridor extending from 68th Avenue and Zuni Street to Federal Boulevard. The corridor consists of a two-lane collector roadway with a curb, gutter, sidewalk, and landscaped median. The corridor was also designed with bike lanes and designated left turn lanes. The project includes a proposed storm drain system and water quality treatment.
Project Highlights
Roadway and Drainage design per CDOT and Adam County Public Works Design Standards. The overall objective of the project was to provide improvements along the roadway corridor to improve roadway safety, mobility, and pedestrian access facilities, to design and build and innovative and sustainable corridor with environmental and economic considerations, to improve the drainage system, and to make a better living environment to serve community growth and economic development.
