HCL was the prime consultant for the development of a new construction single-family home in Lakewood. This project was unique in that the owner bought plans off of the internet and HCL was contracted to modify the plans to fit on the lot and within the existing setbacks of the property. HCL refined the original design by including upgrades to the exterior finishes with a combination of added brick and vertical board and batten siding. Additional changes to the floor plans created an additional powder room on the main level and the basement was designed to include additional bedrooms, a bathroom, and an entertainment room. An open floor plan on the main level incorporated the kitchen, dining, and living room areas for entertaining guests and family. The exterior included outdoor space for a covered front porch and back patio with landscaping to enhance the curb appeal.
