Congratulations to Caleb Rapp on Passing the Professional Engineering Exam

After nine years of college education and job experience, Caleb Rapp is now a professional engineer with the State of Colorado. For the past three years, he has served as a structural design engineer with HCL, where he oversees the development of structural building designs, plan drafting, and organized calculation packages. He brings a wealth of experience to his projects.

Caleb’s work with HCL includes structural site observations and report generation for the concourse expansion projects at Denver International Airport. He has also designed various commercial structures, including multi-family townhomes, single-family homes, prefabricated steel structure foundations, and foundation stabilizations. He has analyzed over 60 statewide bridges for CDOT and NHS standards, and has provided descriptive calculations for bridge ratings. Other projects he has worked on include the stair egress replacement design for the National Western Complex, a sand storage facility for Summit County, and a locker room expansion for Denver Public Schools.

Caleb holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Colorado with an emphasis in structural engineering and construction management. When not studying for the P.E. exam and managing large engineering projects, Caleb is an avid cyclist who has participated in the Boulder Buff Classic three times. He is a musician and enjoys singing, guitar, and piano, and is active in his local church. Caleb is also working on perfecting the art of homemade pasta to become a sommelier!
