HCL was a sub-consultant to Atkins Global. HCL was tasked with providing additional design surveys to assist the design team in the development of engineering plans. HCL was tasked with conducting cross-sections of I-70 that created a higher-accuracy 3D model of the existing mobile LiDAR scan. HCL also conducted river cross-sections of Clear Creek that enabled the engineers to design the new structures outside of the riverbed. HCL also conducted an Aerial LiDAR flight of the hillside where the new highway alignment will be constructed.
