HCL has been providing services to Denver International Airport (DEN) since 2007. These projects require us to go through the badging process, attend safety training, and meet with operations and planning personnel in order to address DEN’s guidelines and operational standards. HCL has performed site design services for a major airline hangar, addressed drainage and concrete deterioration at the United Airlines Cargo facility, performed on-call quality control surveying, and provided civil engineering services for the DEN North Campus Facility, among other projects. We are experienced with both airside and landside operations.
DIA Hotel and Transit Center
HCL actively worked with SA Miro on the structural design of the DIA Hotel and Transit Center, Jviation on design survey support for the enabling projects, and with Parson Transportation Group on the on-call quality assurance surveying support for the project.
Concourse A and B West Expansion
HCL provides survey services at DEN on an ongoing basis. We are currently working on a 3-year project for Surveying and Building Control for the Concourses A West and B West Expansion.
DEN Fire Station 35
HCL provided pre-proposal design, civil planning and design, structural BIM design and construction administration, and construction surveying layout services for Denver Fire Department’s new 18,000 sf fire station at Denver International Airport.
Concourse A Hold Gates
HCL surveyed approximately one million square feet or 23 acres on the east end of Concourse A. The survey included utility locates and topographic features for the design team to use. The project involved design of the drainage and utility improvements for the temporary hold rooms.
