After more than two decades of successfully growing HCL Engineering & Surveying, Lloyd Herrera, PE, is stepping down from his role as President. He will remain as Principal Founder and help transition the company into a new chapter, led by Julian Sisneros, PLS. Julian joined the firm in 2017, with 20 years of experience under his belt managing field crews, office staff, projects, and clients. He is a Board Member of both the Hispanic Contractors of Colorado and the Professional Land Surveyors of Colorado (Central Chapter), and is a graduate of the Metropolitan State University of Denver.

Julian has effectively grown HCL’s Surveying and Mapping division, and is now eager to work closely with Lloyd to continue the company’s legacy and the evolution of overall business operations. He comes with a promise to work with the same vigor, commitment,  and enthusiasm for the firm, its betterment, and growth.

When not working, Julian enjoys spending time with family – his wife of 17 years, Lauren, and their kids Jaylene and Isaiah. He spends his free time camping, hunting, and watching local sporting events.

Dominic Herrera, AIA, will serve as Vice-President of the company while continuing to develop the Architecture department, a new discipline recently added to HCL.
