Denver International Airport Hotel & Transit Center

The DIA Hotel and Transit Center is made up of independent yet physically integrated projects, which include the construction of a planned 500-room Westin hotel and conference center, an RTD FastTracks commuter rail station, and improvements to the existing concourse baggage and train systems. In addition, the program includes an open-air plaza, complete with new concessions and leasable space, which connects the development to the existing Jeppesen Terminal. The Hotel and Transit Center is expected to create nearly 1,000 jobs, will generate approximately $2 million in annual tax revenues for the City’s General Fund and is scheduled for completion by 2016.

HCL actively worked with SA Miro on the structural design of the DIA Hotel and Transit Center, Jviation on design survey support for the enabling projects, and with Parson Transportation Group on the on-call quality assurance surveying support for the project.
